The New Haven Symphony Orchestra's Young People's Concerts (YPC) are exhilarating 55-minute performances, designed for students in grades 2-8, that are supported by a curriculum guide with references to the National Standards of Music Education, as well as the Connecticut State Department of Education framework.
This year's Young People's Concert will feature a repertoire of patriotic tunes by America's finest composers. Come hear musical favorites such as Aaron Copland's "Lincoln Portrait," as well as works by Ives, Handy, Sousa, and more. Bring your students to New Haven's historic Woolsey Hall to experience the full NHSO in concert.
