On July 24th, 2010, the top three prize winners of the 3rd Annual Yale/New Haven Young Artists Solo Competition - Raymundo Morales, clarinet (Grand Prize); Kevin Lopez, clarinet (Second Prize); and Emily Wang, violin (Third Prize) - played in a New Haven Symphony Orchestra rehearsal.
Spend a Saturday afternoon at the Connecticut Children’s Museum with your favorite preschooler or kindergartner—ages 2--6 You’ll enjoy storytelling accompanied by music performed by an engaging NHSO musician. The stories and music work together to illuminate the imaginary worlds that await the beginning reader and to encourage an interest in reading and in music.
