New Haven, CT, February 5, 2009: The New Haven Symphony Orchestra (NHSO) is pleased to announce the 3rd Annual Wine Tasting, A Taste of the Classics, to be held Thursday, March 12, 2009, 6-9pm at New Haven Country Club, 160 Hartford Turnpike, Hamden.
Wine Experts from all over Connecticut will guide you through a world-wide selection of wine. Amity Wine & Spirits of New Haven is the exclusive wine sponsor for the evening. Guests will taste an array of wines from all over the world. Those in attendance may also place orders through the wholesalers on site at significant discounts. The New Haven Country Club will offer an array of hors d’oeuvres specially prepared to complement the wines.
The event closes with a raffle drawing with three fabulous prizes to be awarded. Grand Prize is a trip for two to Lyon, France for 8 days and 7 nights of cruising through French Wine Country aboard the River Royale. 2nd Prize is a 3 days and 2 nights at the Marriott Marquis, Times Square, includes a live entertainment package of your choice and 3rd Prize is a $1,000 gift certificate to the Union League Café, New Haven (excludes alcoholic beverages).
