Join the NHSO Junior Board

The Junior Board program is intended for motivated full-time high school students in good academic standing with a demonstrated interest in orchestral music and a commitment to community service. The program will provide its young members with the opportunity to gain understanding of the operation of a not-for-profit arts organization, and to develop leadership skills through meaningful volunteerism supporting the mission of the NHSO. Members of the Junior Board will have experiences that one would be unable to get anywhere else. During the 2010-2011 season, not only did Jr. Board members enjoy symphonies by Brahms, Mozart Mahler and more, they also participated in sessions with Pulitzer prize winning composer Augusta Read Thomas and MacArthur Award winning composer Jin Hi Kim and had an Auditioning Master Class with Maestro William Boughton.
