Aquatic Dance Project

The NHSO will be partering with Mystic Aquarium and the Elm City Dance Collective to put together the "Aquatic Music and Dance Festival" in April 2011. The festival will be a two day, outdoor celebration of dance and music. Choreographed by Lindsay Bauer and Kellie Lynch, the dances are set to contemporary musical works inspired by nature.  Through dance, music and art, this project will portray Man's relationship with the environment and in particular, the relationship of life on land and in the sea. School Night at the Symphony

The New Haven Symphony Orchestra is offering all students, faculty, staff, and families associated with your school the opportunity to see the New Haven Symphony Orchestra play a night of Classical Romance! Click here for more information.  Reservations are required and space is limited; for more information please contact Dan Kinsman, Director of Education at (203) 865-0831 x13. 

Showcase of Young Artists

Talented high school students from the greater New Haven area have the opportunity to play for arriving audiences at Woolsey Hall or our Pops venues in East Haven, Hamden, and Shelton before NHSO Symphony Series and Pops concerts. Young Artists’ performances begin 45 minutes before concert time. Singers, instrumentalists and dancers are welcome!
