My name is Dan Kinsman and I am the new Education Director for the New Haven Symphony Orchestra. My experience as both a professional musician and public school music educator contribute to the passion and purpose that I bring to the Education programs of the NHSO.
The NHSO's Education program aims to help educate, inspire and transform the mind as well as to fuel the imagination of children throughout the state of Connecticut. Our education and community programs have been expanding and are now comprised of programs that include concerts by the full orchestra, such as our legendary "Young People's Concerts", workshops with children playing side by side professional musicians, individual coaching, progressive partnerships with other leading arts institutions, and much more!!
I look forward to meeting you and your family at more then one of the many exciting events that we have planned for this coming season. Please feel free to explore our website to learn more about the many interesting programs being offered by the NHSO this year.
