Music Director William Boughton continues his masterful leadership of the NHSO and the outstanding musical talents of your Orchestra grow ever stronger.  Our extraordinary musicians are inspiring audiences wherever they perform.  Audience development efforts have recruited 588 new subscribers and we hope you enjoy being a part of a larger audience: it’s a trend we plan to build upon.  Your enthusiastic reaction at concerts in New Haven, Hamden, and Shelton has been so heart-warming for our musicians. We hope you can feel their passion for “changing lives for the better.”

 

Our unparalleled performances are coupled with an unwavering commitment to education. Our Family Concerts, youth programs, and school visits are inspiring youth and building tomorrow’s audience for classical music in 7 out of 8 counties in Connecticut.  We will reach over 30,000 children in nearly 130 schools this season.
